Cue the family fun in Grand Rapids
There is no shortage of fun and laughter to create a memorable day together!
Grand Rapids, Michigan, January 18, 2023 – The Kids & Family Expo has announced its 2023 date.
The 10th annual event will be held Saturday, January 28 from 10am-5pm at the DeVos Place.
Discover family fun and explore unforgettable activities and attractions as family’s bond together through interactive, physical, and educational play.
Top 10 things to do include the Zip Line, Human Foosball, Frog Hopper, Wimee Puppet Show, Balloon Twisting,
Jungle Chase, Obstacle Course, Face Painting, Magician, and Reptiles and Amphibians. Something for everyone!
A new attraction this year, the Jungle Chase, will give children the opportunity to participate in a derby race at the DeVos Place. This activity will bring smiles and laughter to children’s faces, along with the popular Zip Line which will give you a bird’s eye view of the entire expo!
This year’s expo will partner with the Mental Health Foundation – be nice. program. “Local schools who participate in the postcard distribution have an opportunity to raise funds for the be nice. initiative. It is a way for us to give back to the community and support a great program all while encouraging family bonding,” says Pam Glass, President at Kohler Expos, Inc., the company that produces the event.
Attendees will have the opportunity to sign up to win a “Family Fun Bucket”, these buckets are filled with prizes that include various gift cards, gift items, toys and passes to area attractions, restaurants, and activities. Hint, hint…think Michigan Adventure tickets! Drawings are on the hour, every hour at the front entrance.
Admission tickets are available online or at the door: Adult 16+: $9, Children 3-15: $6, and 2 and under: Free.
